Ulises hizo su cama con la raíz de un olivar. Como tal, la cama no se podía mover, alterar o perturbar; era firme y constante, al igual que el amor de la pareja real. Que Ulises durmiera en cualquier parte no parecía importar, pero la continua lealtad de Penélope estaba representada,  por su cama inmovible.
Encima de la cama se nace, se duerme y se muere. En la cama comemos, leemos, fumamos, pensamos, reimos y lloramos. En la cama también tenemos sexo y nos postramos enfermos. En la cama uno se esconde, se cobija, se psicoanaliza. En la cama soñamos despiertos. En la cama también se juega. Se salta, se escala. La cama puede ser un montaña, una balsa en medio del mar rodeada de tiburones o incluso un oscura caverna.  La cama es un universo.

Ulysses made his bed with the root of an olive tree. As such, the bed could not be moved, altered or disturbed; It was firm and constant, just like the love of the royal couple. That Ulysses slept anywhere didn't seem to matter, but Penelope's continued loyalty was represented by her immovable bed.
On top of the bed you are born, you sleep and you die. In bed we eat, read, smoke, think, laugh and cry. In bed we also have sex and lie down sick. In bed one hides, takes shelter, psychoanalyzes oneself. In bed we daydream. They also play in bed. It jumps, it climbs. The bed can be a mountain, a raft in the middle of the sea surrounded by sharks or even a dark cavern. The bed is a universe.
